Soft, Romantic Valentine's Makeup

The Valentine's makeup look that I shared last week may have been a little to dramatic for some of you (see it here). If that is the case, then today's tutorial may be the one for you! I still used the Naked3 palette because the rosey hued shadows are perfect for Valentine's looks! This time I used the three matte shades in the palette. I'm usually more into shimmery shadows but I really love the mattes in this palette!

Step 1: Apply moisturizer, primer, foundation, and concealer. I used e.l.f Studio Mineral Infused Face Primer in Clear, Revlon's PhotoReady Foundation, and e.l.f. Studio Maximum Coverage Concealer. I also contoured my face with theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzing Powder and highlighted my face with Maskcara IIID Illuminator.

Step 2: Cover your main lid and crease with white eyeliner. This will help the light eye shadow we'll be using to show more. I used e.l.f. Essential Eye Widener.

Step 3: Apply Strange from Naked3 to your main lid. If you don't own the Naked3 palette, use a very very pale pink or white matte eye shadow.

Step 4: Apply Limit from Naked3 to the top third of your main lid, your crease, and just above your crease. If you don't own the Naked3 palette, use a light dusty rose matte eye shadow.

Step 5: Apply Nooner from Naked3 to your crease and to the outer corner of your eye. If you don't own this palette, use a medium pinky brown matte shadow.

Step 6: Apply black liquid eyeliner to your top lash line, winging it out. I used Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner in Blackest Black.

Step 7: Apply a black pencil liner to your bottom lash line and tear line. I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero.

Step 9: Apply a pink/rose colored lip stick or lip gloss. I used Milani Crystal Gloss in Summer Baby. It's a pink gloss with golden shimmer and it's a really good dupe for MAC Nymphette.

You're done!
