I've always loved tops and dresses with sweetheart necklines but I've always failed to find ones that worked for me. They're not always modest and it can be hard to adjust them to make them so. Wearing something under them usually ruins the effect of the neckline, after all. When I saw this top in H&M a few days ago, I realized that I had finally found the top for me. Sure, it had a sheer section, but all I needed was to wear a nude top underneath it and voila. Plus it was on sale for $7. I couldn't say no to that.

You may have noticed the interesting fashion statement of Eve wearing a cute spring outfit with ugg boots... that are on the wrong feet. Those boots are Eve's favorite shoes so she picks them out to wear almost every day. Her shoe obsession is hilarious but also sometimes frustrating. Yesterday Eve and I went to Target to buy some new shoes for Eve and we were stuck in the shoe section for a lot longer than I had planned. Eve had to pick up and try on every pair of brightly colored and/or glittery shoes that came into her eye line. Oh, and some crocs... not her finest fashion moment. Her favorite pair of shoes were neon pink, sparkly ballet flats that were about four sizes too big. She tried those ones on about five times. Eventually I put them back so that we could leave and Eve threw one heck of a tantrum. I carried that squirming, shrieking, hair pulling, biting child to the car and made a vow never to take her to Target on my own again. We'll see if I can stick to that one.
