38 Weeks

Dress: Express (similar maternity here ; non-maternity here) // Shoes: Mossimo (similar here and here) // Necklace: Forever 21 (similar here and here) // Watch: Kate Spade // Bracelet: Groopdealz (similar here) // Nails: Essie Chinchilly

Yep, this is my second red and black outfit of the week. Apparently I'm into that right now? I originally bought this dress with the intention of wearing it for Valentine's Day but forgot about it. Let's blame pregnancy brain. I liked how this is a non-maternity dress but because of the ruched sides, it can accommodate a growing belly. The real test will be to try it on once I'm back in pre-pregnancy condition and see if I stretched it out too much ha ha.

I'm 38 weeks today! I'm a little surprised I even made it this far. Now that I have, I'm fairly convinced that I'll make it my induction date next weekend. Or maybe I'm just trying to mentally prepare myself for that possibility. While most of me is very ready for this pregnancy to be over and to meet this little girl, I am trying to make myself enjoy the time I have left. A newborn means a definite decrease in freedom so I should just make the most of the time I have left, right? Easier said than done, believe me.

  1. Your baby bump is so adorable! I am loving the fact that you are dressed to the nines and have a bump. I always admire moms or moms to be when they can still dress up because I can't even imagine how hectic life gets. You just look absolutely beautiful!

  2. Wow! You're tummy is so big... must be really exciting for you! I don't know how I would feel if I were to have a baby, though it's something that is part of our plan in the near future. You look amazing though! If only I would look half as good as you pregnant :)

    1. Thanks, Abby! It's hard to believe that my tummy is still getting bigger! Pregnancy is weird and long and uncomfortable but it's definitely worth it!
