(Almost) All White







White and gold is one of my favorite color combinations. I practically drool over white and gold decor and accessories. Even my planner is white with gold polka dots. That's why there was no question over whether this top belonged in my closet. Plus the boxy cut is great for someone who has just had a baby (no midsection clinginess.) While the obvious option would be to wear this cute top with a pair of jeans, I thought it would be a little more fun to go for an (almost) all white look. This option adds a little danger to my life too due to the constant threat of sticky little two-year-old fingers.

I suppose it's time for another postpartum weight-loss/fitness update! The weight is falling off pretty steadily. That's still mainly due to breastfeeding and being careful with my calorie intake. I haven't been counting calories very strictly but I plan to do so this week. In fact, I've already planned out all of my meals and snacks for the week to make it easier to eat healthier and to stick to my desired calorie intake. I can also start working out again this week! Yay! I'm planning on going to the gym at least four times this week. Plus I'm sure I'll do some walking with the girls too. Here are the stats:

Height: 5' 6"
4 weeks postpartum weight: 140 lb
Current weight: 137 lb
Plan for the week: eat 1800-2000 calories per day, work out at least 4 times per week
