Color Affair

If there is one color I am loving more than any other this spring, it's blush. That's why this sweater came home with me without much of a debate. It's blush, it's light-weight, and it's flowy, which makes it perfect for post-partum wear. I have to admit, though, I may be having a bit of an affair on blush... with baby blue. It's a rather new thing. In fact, only one thing in my closet was this color before this cute little cross body bag came along. Cross body bags were another thing I was seriously lacking. I've had my eye on a few designer baby blue bags but when I saw this one at Target, I couldn't pass it up

On Sunday night we were headed home in the car and had to pull over to let a fire department SUV pass by. Eve heard the siren and saw the lights and said, "Fire truck! What happened, Daddy?" John told her that someone must need help. That answer certainly didn't satisfy her curiosity and concern so for the rest of the drive home, every couple of minutes Eve would ask "Daddy, what happened?" She always addressed the question to John. I guess she thinks he's better equipped to deal with emergencies. I don't blame her given the brave way that Daddy rescues me from spiders and the less-than-brave way that I scream and run to get Daddy's help when I see one.

  2. I love pairing pinks with blues! Like coral and turquoise, blush and light blue, navy and hot pink, etc. I also love simple outfits. So this one is right up my alley!
