A Dash of Greek Goddess

Gray Maxi dress: H&M  |  Embellished sandals: Forever 21 (similar here, here, and here)
Burgundy Belt: thrifted (similar here)  |  Necklace: Forever 21  | Bracelets: Forever 21

The thing I love about this maxi dress, other than how ridiculously comfortable it is, is that it makes me feel just a little bit like a Greek goddess. But not in an overly obvious way. Bleach this dress to white and switch my embellished sandals for the gladiator variety and I'd have a perfect Halloween costume. But I think I'll stick with my subtle goddessness for now. After all, if I dress up for Halloween, my two-year-old insists that I be either Sven or Olaf since she and her sister are dressing up as Elsa and Anna. I am considering trying to be Sven. People have managed to look like pretty deer and foxes for Halloween, so maybe I could swing a pretty reindeer? But then could I really call myself Sven? Although I just asked her if I should be Sven and she said, "No, Santa." So now I'm at a complete loss ;)

Once again I busted out my Irresistible Me hair extensions. Using them to make big, chunky braids was one of the things I was most looking forward to about having extensions. There are so many other types of braids and buns I can't wait to try too. I'm one happy, part-time full haired girl over here.
